the new Clifton GMT Power Reserve

Baume et Mercier expands its Clifton collection with a dual time model that will be showcased at the upcoming Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (Geneva, 16-20 January 2017).

In line with Baume et Mercier’s philosophy of high quality and affordable luxury, the new Clifton GMT Power Reserve offers a useful GMT complication in a stainless steel model that is easy to wear on all occasions.

Under the domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the deep blue dial with sun-satin finishes creates a perfect background for the ƒƒrhodium-plated hands and Arabic numerals for excellent legibility.

The GMT display at 12 o’clock is presented in an original half-moon shape also including day/night indication. To visually balance it, the retrograde power reserve indicator is positioned at 6 o’clock. The date window on a white background at 3 o’clock completes the information. Subtle red accents enhance the character of the watch.

Housed in a 43mm steel case with polished and satin finishes, the self-winding Soprod 9035 calibre beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 42 hours.

The 50m water-resistant sapphire crystal case back is held in place with four screws and displays the finishes of the movement which include circular-grained finished plate and bridges, blued steel screws and Côtes de Genève decoration for the oscillating weight.

The Baume et Mercier Clifton GMT Power Reserve is completed by a black alligator strap with square scales, tone-on-tone stitching and a triple folding buckle with security push-pieces.
