Attached to the situation via Cartier’s easy-adjust (QuickSwitch) strap-changing system is a case-fitted matte-black alligator strap along with the envisioned black rubber strap (that is very comfy on the folding deployant clasp). Inside the watch is the in-house-made grade 1847 MC automatic motion, broadly used inside the brand, which functions at 4Hz and has approximately two days of power reserve.

Aside from a healthy portion of classy, masculine sex appeal, the Cartier Santos WSSA0039 in black aDLC is a new flavor of the still-novel modern family of Cartier Santos watches. What I believe would have completed the look was the access to a black aDLC steel bracelet. What prevents this from occurring is the higher cost of doing the aDLC coating properly on all the steel components rather than having the colour wear off over time. That is catchy and could make this arguably pricey timepiece cost even more money. By way of example, the Cartier Santos in organic steel onto the bracelet costs $700 less than this version with a coated case onto a strap.
