Omega (OMEGA), launched this year a Speedmaster series 57 watch. It features a retro design and an upgraded manual winding to its Observatory movement. Omega Speedmaster watch   was first launched in 2013. It inherits many of its classic design elements, including the vertical lugs that extend from the case and the brushed metal bezel. It also features a clear blackened dial with the famed rhodium-plated “broadarrow” hands.

It measures 40.5mm in diameter and 13mm thick. This is less than the Speedmaster Moonwatch 3861’s thickness of 13.58mm. The watch comes with a black dial that has a double-layer structure. The upper dial features hollow hour markers. The bottom is coated with a retro-style SuperLumiNova luminescent coating.

This dial layout makes it easier and more intuitive to see the cumulative time. It places the 12-hour and 60 minute chronograph hands on the subdial at three o’clock. A small seconds dial is located at 9 o’clock, and a date window at six o’clock.

The retro-style SuperLumiNova luminous coating is applied to the dial hour markers and hands. This allows for the wearer of the watch to clearly see the time in the dark.

The new Speedmaster 57’s upgraded manual-winding movement can be combined with a thinner watch case and slimmer bezel to give it a refined appearance. The Omega “O”, brand logo is engraved on a crown. The two chronograph buttons have been finely polished.

The sapphire glass case back clearly shows that the Omega 9906 Master Chronometer watch has a new 60-hour power reserve function as well as a timing function.

Omega also developed a bracelet adjustment function for the Speedmaster ’57. You can extend the bracelet by an additional 2.3mm. It is possible to adjust the strap while wearing it. This makes it more comfortable and easier to wear.
