Depending on your use , your watch will gather sweat and dust in its crevices. When sweat and dust gathers around a G-shock with twin sensors, the readings will be incorrect. To make sure that the watch displays correct time and does not malfunction, regular cleaning is needed.

Here have some steps told you how to fix it.
Step 1
Use a faucet and spray water in all parts of your G-shock.

Step 2
Then leave your G-shock in a mug of lukewarm water (Approx 35.c ), for about 15 minutes.

Step 3
Remove the watch from the water then use an ear-bud and clean the underside of the watch especially in the places where the strap meets the body. The caked sweat should come off easily. Don’t hesitate if you have to change ear-buds.

Step 4
Use a microfiber cleaning cloth to clean the display. If it’s not available you can use the cloth which comes with most spectacles or a clean T-shirt.

Step 5
Use a vacuum cleaner and carefully suck out the water which is left in the crevices. Don’t use a hair dryer as excessive heat could melt the plastic components of the watch.

Tips
You can use these instructions on any waterproof watch.
Instead of one long cleaning session, it’s just easier to leave your G-shock in water for a few minutes everyday and then wash it off in the shower.

Warnings
Do not add anything in the water when you soak the watch.
Never put the watch in contact with soap, as some soaps are corrosive.
Do not use this for a watch that is not waterproof.
