Vallorbe-based Manufacture Royale presented a new interpretation of its Androgyne Royale model.

Characterised by its unique, steampunk-inspired 52-part case with flexible lugs for enhanced wearability, the Androgyne Royale is built around a completely skeletonized hand-wound movement.

The circular structure of the stainless steel case body creates an intentional contrast with the linear shapes of the lugs elements.

Beating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, the 167-part movement displays high-quality finishing executed according to strict haute horlogerie tradition. The flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock features a silicon escape wheel with ceramic ball bearing.

All the parts have also undergone a PVD treatment, resulting in the intense blue colour which makes the skeletonized hands clearly stand out.

Completed by a blue alligator strap, the Manufacture Royale Androgyne Royale Steel has a price of US$ 61,600.
